CUSTOM INVITATION PROCESS
While the invitation sets the tone for your wedding day, your responses to our inquiry form gives us a glimpse into what you want for your big day. It gives us a little insight into your relationship, dreams for your wedding paper and what you envision for your wedding day. More details the better, so this is not the time to be brief. We love people who love to talk about paper!
After we receive your inquiry form, we will review your details and ensure we are a perfect fit for each other. We’ll then set a time to meet at our Main Street design studio in downtown Downers Grove, IL. At this meeting, we will get to know each other, discuss design details for your wedding stationery, review swatches, gather more information about your big day and you will get a view into the vault of designs.
After our style meeting, we will create a custom proposal that includes pricing and details for everything we discuss at your style meeting. After you review the proposal with your partner, you will pay your 50% retainer and will be officially “booked” with Greenstar Paperie
Now it’s time for the fun part - where the magic happens! We flex our creative expertise and deliver your design concepts. We will email you high-res digital concepts to review and provide feedback. We will then edit those designs based on your feedback to deliver final proofs.
While the proofing process might not be fun, it’s extremely important! You will receive final digital proofs for all printed portions of your invitation to review. Once we have your final approvals, your invitations will got to printing. They will come back to us for final inspection assembly. We ensure each invitation is assembled perfectly, so you can ensure your guests will be wow-ed by your wedding paper.
